Sigma Cannabis: Sales Support and Field Marketing

May 01, 20263 min read

Helping a lean team launch multiple cannabis brands with the tools, materials, and support needed to compete in New York's market.

Background

Sigma Cannabis is the parent company behind several New York cannabis brands, including Hashies, Rippers, REMzzz, and Chillaxers.

When the company partnered with us in 2025, none of the brands had officially launched in the market. While Sigma had already developed its visual identities and packaging, the team faced a common challenge in emerging cannabis markets:

Limited resources and a long list of priorities.

With a small internal team preparing for launch, they needed support building the infrastructure necessary to drive awareness, support retail partners, and equip the sales team for success.

Our Role

DOMORRE Marketing became an extension of the Sigma Cannabis team, providing field marketing, sales support, creative development, and operational assistance across multiple brands.

Our work included:

  • Sales collateral and one-sheet development

  • Budtender education materials

  • Point-of-sale assets and displays

  • Retail merchandising support

  • Social media content creation

  • Event and activation support

  • Promotional product sourcing

  • Print production and fulfillment management

This partnership allowed Sigma's team to remain focused on sales and growth while DOMORRE managed many of the supporting functions behind the scenes.

The Challenge

Launching a cannabis brand in New York requires more than good products.

Sigma faced several challenges:

  • Entering a highly competitive and evolving market

  • Supporting multiple brands simultaneously

  • Operating with a lean internal team

  • Educating budtenders and retail partners

  • Creating visibility at dispensary level

  • Balancing field execution with day-to-day sales efforts

Success required operational support and consistency across every touchpoint.

Insight

In cannabis, brands don't rely solely on consumers recognize the packaging. Dispensaries, budtenders, and sales teams have the tools they need to tell the story.

The most effective support meant making sure the right materials were in the right hands at the right time.
